Welcome to Hebron 9th Grade Center's Biology Website.
Welcome! This website is created and managed by Mr. Early and the students at Hebron 9th Grade Center. Living Biology is a place for students to share what they’ve learned in and out of class. The main purpose of this site is to encourage students to share what they’ve learned and to be a home base for student discussions revolving around what they write and what we discuss in class.
Check out the student blogs to the right or check in on the teacher posts. Teacher created classroom resources can be found on Schoolweb or from the shared Google Drive folder. Other student created resources can be found under Unit Information. Instructions for setting up a free iTunes account. From Mr. Early: "My goals for this website have changed over time, but the main goal has always been to make biology more interesting to my students, improve student engagement and interaction, and provide student's a way to apply what they have learned and show what they have learned. As always, whether you are surfing the web or hiking a beautiful mountain trail. Have fun, be safe, and explore life!" HOW DOES THIS SITE WORK? As you move through the website you will find key terms for each unit listed on the main unit page. The subtopics under each unit will give more specific information and provide information and assignments pertaining to that topic. Through practice and exploration you will master the objectives listed at the top of each sub-unit page. At this point in time, most information related to the class can be found on the class SCHOOLWEB. Please follow the link to access this information. Calendar |
